Plan Your Calendar! January 2015 • Jan 6 - MAS Board Meeting at 7pm, Ft. Snelling History Center, All MAS members are welcome to attend! • Jan 25 - Kent Bakken will give a lecture titled, “Don’t try this at home: deep excavation in the swamp, in the winter, in Minnesota”, at the Carver County Historical Society. The lecture will start around 1:30 pm. February 2015 • Feb 3 - MAS Board Meeting at 7pm, Ft. Snelling History Center, All MAS members are welcome to attend! • Feb 13 & 14 - The Council for Minnesota Archaeology (CMA) is holding a two day conference on current archaeology in the Upper Midwest. The conference will be held on the St. Cloud University Campus and at the Stearns History Museum in St. Cloud. Please click this link for further information - CMA 2015 Conference Program. • Feb 19 - Kent Bakken will give the same lecture as the one on Jan 25 at the Shakopee Public Library. Snelling History Center, All MAS members are welcome to attend! • Mar 20 & 21 - The 2015 Lake Superior Basin Workshop will be held at Grand Portage National Monument.
